This project involved designing and developing a comprehensive brochure website for an ethical accounting and consulting firm dedicated to sustainable business practices as a foundation of their brand image. The website was built using WordPress, PHP, and JavaScript, ensuring a robust and scalable platform that effectively communicates the firm’s values and services. The site was designed to be visually appealing, easy to navigate, and fully optimised for search engines, providing a seamless user experience across all devices.
The website was developed using WordPress as the core content management system (CMS), to allow for easier website updates from the client in the future. In addition, I implemented customisation with PHP to align with the specific web function needs.
JavaScript was integrated to enhance interactivity, improve user engagement, with features such as image carousel and interactive form validation. My focus on user experience (UX) design, supported with Figma wire-framing, involved crafting a site layout that is highly intuitive, optimised for accessibility and mobile responsiveness.
The website was built on a local renewable energy hosting server, images were optimised and caching enabled to reduce load times and server requests.
I also handled the advanced SEO strategies, optimising on-page content, meta tags, and technical elements to boost search engine visibility, enhance keyword rankings, and drive targeted organic traffic to the site.
The result of this project is a fully functional, visually appealing website that effectively represents the ethical accounting and consulting firm’s mission and services. The combination of thoughtful design, strategic content, and robust development resulted in a platform that not only attracts and engages visitors but also helps the firm establish a strong online presence, with autonomy to add future content to the website thanks to a fully-customised WordPress content management system.
